Jared Tristan Padalecki,was born on July 19, 1982 in San Antonio, Texas to Jerry Padalecki and Sharon Kammer. The Padalecki's have three kids, Jeffrey Ryan, Jared Tristan and Megan Alyssa. Jared, he started to take acting lessons at the age of twelve. Then he won the Claim to Fame Contest in 1999 and got to appear on the Teen Choice awards. He attended James Madison High School and was a candidate 2000 Presidential Scholars Program. After graduating in the 2000 he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. He is currently starring as Sam Winchester on Supernatural with on screen brother, Jensen Ackles who plays Dean. --------------- More Jared Trivia: Favorite book is "The Great Gatsby". Was considered for the role of Superman/Clark Kent in the proposed relaunch of the Superman film franchise. Is best friends with Jensen Ackles, his on screen brother in Supernatural. Lives with on-screen brother Dean at his place in Vancouver where Supernatural is being filmed. Good friends with actor Derek Lee Nixon & Director Andrew Pozza from San Antonio, Texas. He and classmate Chris Cardeans together won the National Forensics League national championship in Duo Interpretation in 1998. Jared Padalecki just finished a movie entitled Home for Christmas and is currently in between filming the remake to the 80's horror classic 'Friday the 13th' and his hit horror tv series on the CW, SUPERNATURAL---running on its Fourth Season.
